All anger is about something which has already happened. Is it of any use getting angry about something which you cannot alter?
-Sri Sri Ravi Shankar "Sri Sri Ravi Shankar"
All anger is about something which has already happened. Is it of any use getting angry about something which you cannot alter?
In life, if you wish to save yourself from going insane, set your anger and love
free... Suppressing them, both get perverted and assume monstrous forms.
-Deep Trivedi
There are three ways of handling anger: By expression, by suppression and by forgiveness. The right way to overcome anger is by forgiveness.
You will not be punished for your anger; you will be punished by your anger.
In families, where there is freedom of speech and anger, there may be few trivial
fights or arguments on daily basis, but there will never be a big quarrel. The root
cause of all the bitterness of life is the anger which is suppressed in people.
-Deep Trivedi
We tend to suppress our anger against each other which ultimately leads to big
quarrels some day. If two people have been naturally expressing their differences
of opinion or having small arguments on regular basis, they will never have
resentment or enmity of a lifetime.
-Deep Trivedi
Because we suppress our anger against the strong and powerful, we keep
venting our anger on the weak, irrespective of the reason.
-Deep Trivedi
The fly cannot be driven away by getting angry at it.
No matter how much ever your brain understands, ultimately it is the "mind"
that needs to be transformed. Because of wrong decisions being taken in an
enraged state of mind, the brain may decide n-number of times not to get angry
again, yet, as soon as there is an inkling of anger in the mind, you will invariably
end up being angry.
-Deep Trivedi
If you really want to free yourself from anger, then forget all the useless things
you have learnt. The only way to get rid of anger is, whenever or on whosoever
you get angry, just keep releasing it. Do not harbour it within.
-Deep Trivedi
