Because we all share this planet earth, we have to learn to live in harmony and peace with each other and with nature. This is not just a dream, but a necessity.



Each of us in our own way can try to spread compassion into people’s hearts. Western civilizations these days place great importance on filling the human ‘brain’ with knowledge, but no one seems to care about filling the human ‘heart’ with compassion.



Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures.

We can never obtain peace in the world, if we neglect the inner world and don’t make peace with ourselves. World peace must develop out of inner peace.



These are times when anger, fear and hatred are giving rise to devastating problems throughout the world. But I believe we have a valuable opportunity to make progress in dealing with them, through collaboration between religion and science.



The whole purpose of religion is to facilitate love and compassion, patience, tolerance, humility, and forgiveness.

When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. When our community is in a state of peace, it can share that peace with neighbouring communities



It is important we cultivate love and compassion to all the sentient beings, which is the way to bring peace to all.

For those who may not find happiness to exercise religious faith, it’s okay to remain a radical atheist – it’s absolutely an individual right, but the important thing is with a compassionate heart – then no problem.
