Big Bang Particle

Scientists working on the Large Hadron Collider have claimed that they have recreated the world’s tiniest droplets of a primordial state of matter that were created moments after the theoretical Big Bang occurred around 13.8 billion years ago.

The evidence of the miniscule droplets was extracted from the results of colliding protons with lead ions at velocities approaching the speed of light. Scientists stated that these droplets are the size of barely two or three protons. These tiny droplets flow in a similar manner like quark-gluon plasma which is a mixture of sub-atomic particles that are known to exist only at extreme temperatures and densities.

Cosmologists believe the universe was filled with these droplets for fractions of second after the occurrence of Big Bang as conditions were extremely hot and dense. The only way scientists could recreate this condition was by banging atomic nuclei together with tremendous energy.
