The extent to which you depend on the capabilities of your own mind or on the external knowledge and situation to resolve any issue, shows how deep a mind you dwell in.

Neither the ones who have created enormous wealth under the shade of religion, nor the ones who have relinquished wealth for religion can be called 'free from worldly attachments'.

Wonder, how can these Jain monks consider all the good things right from sumptuous meals, good clothes to being fresh and fragrant also a taboo? In that case, according to them all the animals should be considered "Pure Jain".

The childishness of a human being is; on one hand, he is competing to take credit for success, on the other hand, he is always seeking out an opportunity to blame someone else for his failure. Consequently, he is never able to analyze any event accurately.

No matter how adverse the circumstances are, never step back when it comes to "performing your duties" or honouring your responsibilities. If the body wears out, fuel it with the energy of the mind; if the mind also gets exhausted, pull it through with the energy of the soul... But no matter what...finish the task taken in hand.

If taking a bath in the holy Ganges can really wash off your 'sins', then why are poor criminals put behind bars? Giving them a dip in the Ganges, why aren't their 'sins' also washed off?

A king is the one, who is the master of himself. You are just a slave of your religion, caste, creed, society, thinking, desires and worries.

If you would genuinely be satisfied with your feelings, the certificates or opinions of others would hold no significance for you. So much so that being true, you will never have to justify yourself.

No teaching, no society nor any of the so-called religion explains to us the importance of qualities like simplicity, innocence, selflessness or compassion. Whereas the truth is, all the best creations, inventions and arts have stemmed from the "consciousness" of people with these qualities.

If you carefully look at life, there is always something worth learning in each incident that happens. Our problem is, we get stuck in the incident and miss the opportunity to learn the lesson.
