Have you ever noticed that our maximum loss of energy occurs when we try to
restrain the flow of whatever that is coming from within?
All the effective knowledge is very much hidden in the deep recesses of human mind. This is the reason, be it melodies of Mozart or Omar Khayyam's rubaiyat, Krishna's Bhagavad Gita or Einstein's formula which transformed the world E=mc2; all of them have stemmed from within.
All the knowledge possessed by science regarding the human body is based
on probabilities. Whilst, many cancer patients are the ones who have abstained
from tobacco lifelong...majority of the heart attacks are suffered by those who
do not have high cholesterol levels.
Why don't you simply understand that events are happening outside and your life
is within you. Then whatever happens outside, why should your life be affected
by it ? It does, because you forcibly perceive yourself being attached to it.
Things without which our life simply cannot sustain... like air, water and
gravitational force; all are equally available to everyone for free. For a man of
reason, this holds not one, but thousand implications.
The religious scriptures are thousands of years old. Don't know since when
they have been engaged in the upliftment of mankind. But still, considering the
enormity of the pains and problems of human beings, they have been proved
miserable failures. Now, it is high time...that new ways of thinking be adopted.
Science is the name for transformation brought in the psychology of substances
and religion is the name for the knowledge which transforms the psychology of
human beings. Science can provide material comforts to a human being, but
for mental well-being, one has to change his psychology. Hence, striking a fine
balance between the two is the only way to lead a human being and the world
onto the path of progress.
What amount of "truth" are you living in can be gauged from the way you perceive
the good-bad events happening with you, and how much of it you attribute to
yourself and how much to others?
Wonder, how can these Jain monks consider all the good things right from
sumptuous meals, good clothes to being fresh and fragrant also a taboo? In that
case, according to them all the animals should be considered "Pure Jain".
