Quotations
Deep Trivedi

To concentrate on one task at a time irrespective of its nature or kind, is 'Yoga'. Likewise, focusing on many tasks at a time is 'Kama', no matter how great or important you may consider them to be.

Ego simply doesn't know how to strike a balance. Either it stays immersed in the worldly matters or getting distressed, takes 'sanyas' - renounce the world... But to lead a normal life while being mentally detached from the world is something that it just does not know.

How strange are we? We don't have claws like a tiger, yet we growl at others, don't have venom like snakes, yet harbour animosities; don't have wings like birds, still keep flying in the fantasy world. When you do not possess any human quality, how will you achieve success in life?

Isn't it funny that we never look into the lives of the great people whom we worship, to dispel the miseries from our life and see, how much pain they have endured in their life. The truth is, we fail to understand one simple and basic fact that as long as there is life, there will be pain; no matter however great the person may be... Their greatness is not in having a life without hardship but because of their ability to remain cheerful even when surrounded by miseries.

If you are a fraud and it is mentioned on your visiting card, how would you be able to cheat anyone?... No one would simply fall in your trap.

Every individual 'ego' wants to reach the top of the world but the beauty of nature is such that only a 'non-egoist' gets to sit on the summit of ego.

Ego

The people who are successful in life are not so because they are highly qualified, intelligent or meticulously doing their job, but the secret of their success lies in the fact that they have educated themselves only with the vital, need-based, the most essential knowledge...and they put in just the required effort in any task that they pursue. By doing so, they conserve their precious time and energy which eventually proves to be helpful in leading them to the path of success.

There is nothing more "deceitful" than ego in this world. If you want to see, carefully observe the people who unnecessarily show high moral, talk ethics, visit temples or strictly follow rituals. Their entire being reverberates ego, yet they are unaware of it.

Ego

"Time" is such a flow that it puts even an exemplary person like "Krishna" to the deep sleep of death. But the life that he lived and the Bhagavad Gita that he recited, immortalizes him forever. Even you have to die, then why not do something that immortalizes you forever.

Question is, why did the truly "intelligent" people distance themselves from the great personalities like Krishna, Jesus and Buddha? Because, in order to strengthen their individual businesses, religious gurus associated miracles with them. Now, an intelligent person may agree with anything but can never accept 'miracles'.
