Quotations
Deep Trivedi

If brain is the centre of thoughts, liver is the centre of body. As brain becomes inactive when not used, liver gets weak by long term dieting and eating simple food.

If you keep your focus fixed on the 'witness' - the one who is watching rather than the 'ego' - the doer...your identification with the objects, people and acts will be severed. The root cause of all the miseries of the world is our attachment with them.

Ego

If a small community shows fanaticism, it is understandable. Their insecurity and inferiority can still be comprehended. But such a large Muslim community, not supporting open progressive thoughts is causing damage to itself.

Flashing of past or future in any form or thinking about it even for a moment...is nothing but the 'ego'.

Ego

If we stop considering ourselves special on the level of physicalities, half our sorrows will disappear by themselves. From sickness to death, events to accidents; what happens to others, can always happen to us and our beloved ones too... Then what's the point in grieving about them for so long?

In history, we remember and respect only those who have the courage to stand apart from the crowd and speak the "truth". Like Buddha, who despite being born into a Hindu family defied Hindu traditions, its hypocrisies and established Buddhism. Likewise, even Jesus, born into a Jewish family, revolted against Jewish traditions and lost his life, or "Krishna" who not only opposed every prevalent tradition, but even broke them all his life. Do you still wish to continue being a Hindu, Muslim or Christian?

We are quite bizarre ourselves, so are our religious heads too. Merely to satiate our pride we visit them to listen to good things about our religion and they being clever take undue advantage of it, pander to our ego and continue to prosper. This blinds us so much that we stop seeing the negativities of our religion and positive aspects of other religions. You cannot even imagine what a great loss it is for you.

Why does a human being have to be a Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Buddhist? Because lacking individuality, he is afraid of standing alone in the crowd... Whereas, being a "Hindu" he feels a sense of security that one billion people are there with him. The same is the psychology of Muslims, Christians and Buddhists too.

The childishness of a human being is; on one hand, he is competing to take credit for success, on the other hand, he is always seeking out an opportunity to blame someone else for his failure. Consequently, he is never able to analyze any event accurately.

Why don't you understand, just because of the fanaticism propagated by a handful of people, no one comes forward to utter anything against the Muslim society or show them the right path. Does anyone have an idea what a huge loss they are bearing for it?
