A person whose mind is unattached to sensual pleasures, who discovers the joy of the Self, and whose mind is in union with Brahmn through meditation, enjoys eternal bliss.



As men approach Me, so I receive them. All paths, Arjuna, lead to Me.



The true nature of action is very difficult to understand. Therefore, one should know the nature of attached, detached and forbidden actions.



Whenever there is a decline of righteousness, O Arjuna, and the rise of unrighteousness, then I manifest myself.



As the heat of a fire reduces wood to ashes, the fire of knowledge burns to ashes all karma. Nothing in this world purifies like spiritual wisdom. It is the perfection achieved in time through the path of yoga, the path which leads to the Self within.



Having attained human birth, which is an open gateway to Brahmn, one who… remains attached to the ties of the world is not fit to be called human.



No work stains an individual who is pure, who is in harmony, who is master of his life, whose soul is one with the soul of all.



Under the influence of false ego one thinks himself to be the doer of activities, while in reality all activities are carried out by nature as a natural process.



Ego

That one I love who is incapable of ill will, and returns love for hatred. Living beyond the reach of I and mind, pain and pleasure, full of mercy, contented, self-controlled, with all his heart and all his mind given to Me – with such a one I am in love.



The faith of every man, O Arjuna, accords with his nature, Man is made up of faith; as is his faith, so is he. The threefold austerity practiced with faith by men of balanced mind, without any expectation of reward, is said to be pure.
