Quotations
Deep Trivedi

There are two forces strongly present in you; one, your 'witness' and second, your 'ego'. Ego, the one who is doing the things, and witness, the one who is watching all that happens.

Ego

'Yes' is theism and 'No' is atheism. In life the number of things that you have firmly abstained from...shows how irreligious you are. The meaning of irreligiousness itself is the denial of God's creations.

Instead of worshipping Krishna, intelligence lies in understanding the Bhagavad Gita.

Birth is a moment. Even death is a moment. The chain of moments spent between the two is called life. In that case, time is indeed precious. We can bring an end to all our problems as soon as we analyze... as to where and on what issues we have been wasting our time.

Linking karma with physical acts is the lowest level of intelligence. This encompasses all the acts right from fasting to rigorous toiling. A wise being links karma with intent. Pure intent is in itself a good karma. But a supremely intelligent being views "karma" in the light of its result. Whatever is the final outcome of your action, is indeed your "true intent".

If we stop expecting others to treat us as someone special, all our miseries will be vanquished. When no one understood the great historical legends, right from Buddha to Jesus in their times...why do you expect others to "understand you"?

No matter how much ever your brain understands, ultimately it is the "mind" that needs to be transformed. Because of wrong decisions being taken in an enraged state of mind, the brain may decide n-number of times not to get angry again, yet, as soon as there is an inkling of anger in the mind, you will invariably end up being angry.

What amount of "truth" are you living in can be gauged from the way you perceive the good-bad events happening with you, and how much of it you attribute to yourself and how much to others?

It is not that the world has deteriorated today. You perceive the world as you are. The world has been the same from the very beginning; neither has there been a virtuous age (Dharma yuga) nor a sin age (Papi yuga). Here, everything has always been dependent on an individual's perspective with which he looks at it.

Instead of worshipping Krishna, intelligence lies in understanding the Bhagavad Gita.
