Catacombs of Rome

They believed in resurrection because Christ came back to life after he was buried thus they believed in their faith to get buried after death. Hundreds of Christians were buried in this underground cemetery that looked like a dormitory.</p>

The Statue of Christ The Redeemer

The largest art deco statue in the world, it is considered as an icon of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. The statue chosen meant that Christ loves all and will embrace everyone who comes to him and is the 5th largest statue of Jesus. The construction of the statue underwent several negotiations and petitions for it to become a reality. The idea of building it was since 1850 but it had to face lot of criticism and opposition until 1920. Today, it is considered as the New Seven Wonders of the World by UNESCO World Heritage Site on 7 July 2007. </p>
