Intelligent is not the one who has higher degrees or is knowledgeable about
numerous subjects, but the one who knows his limits...meaning who is well
aware of his strengths and weaknesses.
We need to understand, what is more helpful for the growth of life; educational
qualifications or concentration? Glancing at lives from Buddha to Edison,
concentration only seems to be more important.
It is not that the Muslim community is not changing, but the pace is too slow.
Why don't they understand that without adapting oneself to the changing world,
one cannot really tread the path of progress.
In life, if you observe carefully, no one minds doing the wrong deeds or saying
wrong things, but definitely take exception to being understood wrong. Isn't it
astonishing?
Is there a rebirth? No, not at all. From the perspective of what you think as
your way of being, like your name, your family, your country, society, religion or
wealth, all these will surely cease to exist forever with your death.
If any achievement of your life goes to your head and you are gripped by ego...
then understand that you have reached your limit to grow. Now there can be only
one way to go and that is downwards.
Always safeguard yourself from rules and resolves. Machines can be switched
on and off at a fixed time regularly, whereas for mind, the dawn is when you
wake up. Understand this difference between man and machine and save your
life from becoming mechanical.
Our energy level decides which state of mind we will live in. More the energy
accumulated in us...deeper the state of mind we begin to dwell in.
A human being is the only creature in the universe who can be happy and
successful. That is why, he is the only one in the universe who can be unhappy
and unsuccessful too.
Life is only the present. Here, the moment once gone, is gone forever. It can
never come back. At the same time, no moment of future arrives with prior
intimation. Hence, this travel back and forth in the past and future, is nothing but
the manifestation of our fears. There is nothing worthwhile in it.
