For peace, bliss and prosperity in life, what we need is energy, not knowledge. The
biggest source of energy is "concentration" and the biggest enemy, "thinking".
The way you are given bitter medicines when you fall sick, the same way you also
need psychological treatment when you suffer from a psychological problem.
This is the reason why people who only talk sweet and sugary, prove fatal for our
life.
Every 100 years a crowd of 5 billion people is born, whereas in 100 years hardly
500 people are born with awareness. Now you have to decide, whether you want
to remain a part of the crowd and die; or create your own identity and become
immortal in history forever.
The person who indulges in self-torturing thoughts like fasting or uprooting his
own hair is bound to perform acts that will cause pain to others. Now you say,
how can such a person who inflicts pain on others ever be happy?
It is not that we sleep only at night. Our day sleep is far deeper than that. We
rarely awaken for a moment or two. Being awakened means your body, mind
and brain are functioning as per your directions.
If you want to recognize your being, peep within yourself for a moment. Right
from birth until now, irrespective of the number of ups and downs that have come
along the journey of life, there is something which is still the same, and that is the
way you feel.
Our 'mind' is as old as the existence; whereas our brain is of this birth. Hence,
the thinking of mind is boundless whereas in the case of brain, it is limited. Since
there is no possibility of unanimity of action between the two, we end up living in
confusion.
Once you have commenced the task, then moving your concentration and
energies away, prior to its "successful completion" - is like inviting failure
yourself.
The Muslim community spread across the globe is indeed put in a flux. Their
name gets affiliated with every terrorist activity and certainly the whole community
is bearing the brunt of it. But it is only their inability to raise a voice against
fanaticism that is mainly responsible for it.
'Joy' emanates only from those actions which bear fruits instantly. 'Act' today and
'result' tomorrow, such karmas can only impart pains and pleasures.
