The way you laugh at others when you see them suffer for their mistakes, why
don't you laugh at yourself also when you are paying for your foolishness? If you
learn this, all your miseries will immediately be 'dispelled'.
The root of all our miseries is not being mentally prepared for a situation. I cannot
understand, why don't you accept that what happens to others, can always
happen to you as well!
If you mould yourself according to time and let yourself flow with the changing
circumstances, see, what you will soon transform into.
A true 'lover' is the one, in whom his beloved can find not only a lover, but also a
friend, father, guru, brother, son, all of them.
Can't you keep the soil of your mind firm? Yes you can, if you shift your focus
from the pains and pleasures of life to your "being" and keep it steadfast there.
No God in this world can be so narrow-minded that he needs to be appeased by
sycophancy or worship, and if he does gets pleased and favours you, then he
cannot be God... He can only be the devil.
Do you know the difference between 'doing' and 'happening'? Whatever that
you have to do out of compulsion, shows your lack of power and slavery, and
whatever that simply ''happens'' by you is actually the time when you are really
alive.
Agreed, there cannot be anything in this world more encouraging and exciting
than success. But success is achieved only by those, who refuse to relent on
their efforts even in trying times.
There is no discovery of science that the Jain monks do not describe as already
mentioned in their scriptures. Then how come despite their scriptures being
loaded with facts of knowledge, forget science, no Jaina is seen achieving
anything significant in any field on the global scale. I believe, now they should
start sending their scriptures for the Noble prize.
