No one feels the necessity to become good or learn something good, but nobody
ever misses out on an opportunity to portray oneself good.
Ultimate freedom means to live life freely with ''self-discipline''. Ego means
living by the thousands of disciplines borrowed from vice - virtues, religion and
society.
All good and important things in life, happen; they cannot be done. Be it the
revolving of the earth or digestion of your food. Be it blowing of the wind or
breathing. Be it even making a melody or a discovery.
To get enthused about something before it is achieved, always brings undesired
grievous results. To realize it, you need not go far, just reflect upon a few incidents
of your life...you will understand.
What is the difference between foolishness and deviousness? The consequences
of both have to be faced equally, anyway.
Only that, which influences everyone everywhere equally is the blessing of God
like sun, moon, air, water and human life. How could having different scriptures
and diverse beliefs for various religions ever be termed as being religious?
If you wish to lead a healthy life, then till the age of forty, eat to your heart's
content and do lots of exercise. This is what our father and forefathers did. It is
we, who have recognized the fatty food and acidic food separately and as a result,
today’s youth has started eating each morsel with apprehension. Consequently,
nowadays it is the parents and elders who have to look after their children.
There is no happiness in this world which is not balanced by facing equal amount
of sorrow. If you wish to save yourself from sorrows, then bury the feeling of
indulgence and separate yourself from the one who is enjoying within you. And
this is possible only if you stop taking pride in being a ''doer''.
