Since we have taken human birth, doing our karma is the only ''worship'' and honouring duties and responsibilities, the only "meditation". Separately worshiping or meditation is performed by those, who have turned their back on duties.

Why don't you simply understand that events are happening outside and your life is within you. Then whatever happens outside, why should your life be affected by it ? It does, because you forcibly perceive yourself being attached to it.
Life
If you are a fraud and it is mentioned on your visiting card, how would you be able to cheat anyone?... No one would simply fall in your trap.
