The biggest treasure of a human being is his "power of imagination". Instead
of utilizing it for making a discovery or melody or exploring the avenues of
business...we waste it on imaginary worries and finding fictitious Gods to resolve
it.
Considering only your belief system to be true, you have been supporting it
firmly for ages. But why don't you understand that without taking constructive
criticism in your stride, it is impossible to tread the right path as per the need
of time. It is the law of human consciousness that the more one is open to his
own criticism, the more refined he gets. Only because of their own fanaticism,
the Muslim brothers all over the world are practically deprived of the immense
compassion of "intelligent" people.
There are millions and billions of people living in this world, who do not worship
or visit any temple, mosque or church and the truth is, they are living life much
more happily and peacefully. But today, no one in this world is living without the
application of "science". Try to live without it and you will realize what 'hell' is.
Only he, who lives freely can enjoy life to the fullest. An egoist can never live
freely. And it is also true, how can a person tied up in numerous bondages do
anything else but die each moment he lives?
A religious person is...the one who accepts the responsibility for the success and
failures of his life. The one who entrusts it to rituals, worship, astrology, family or
friends...is irreligious.
For a sensible person, the matter worth thinking about is, in the history of past
5000 years, what has been the role of millions of saints, priests and religious
agents in the betterment of the world, and in comparison what has been the
contribution of 500 scientists?... All that we need to decide is, who is genuinely
more compassionate towards mankind?
Why did the intelligent people of the world lose interest in religion? Because
instead of the talks and teachings of Buddha, Jesus and Krishna, they were
presented with the Bible and Vedas concocted by the religious gurus.
Science may assert many things authoritatively in the field of Physics and
Chemistry, but when it comes to "life", it will always remain dubious.
Population can be a liability as well as an asset. If every citizen works, only then
can population be an asset. When one person earns and supports four, it is
dangerous not only for the family, but even for the country... In that case, where
is the question of fostering these pundits and sannyasins?
