The person who understands the dynamics of changing circumstances, lives
his life satisfied in the present. Of course, he keeps an eye on how things are
shaping... As a result, the moment he sees anything ready on a platter, he
immediately grabs it with both hands.
Whoever has achieved great success in life, they have knowingly or unknowingly,
firmly opted for one of the four ways of mind; joy, nature, independence or being
natural and whatever the path once chosen, irrespective of the circumstances...
they have incessantly followed it.
Why don't you simply understand that events are happening outside and your life
is within you. Then whatever happens outside, why should your life be affected
by it ? It does, because you forcibly perceive yourself being attached to it.
The magic of the depths of the inner mind is such that illiterate Kabir and Kalidas
turn out to be "eternally great poets"... And uneducated Edison emerges as a
scientist with the highest number of inventions to his credit. Still do you think you
will be able to achieve success without understanding the science of the depths
of mind?
In this world, the smallest of the particle or even a mosquito does not exist
without a reason. In this universe, if someone is living without any reason, it is
none other than a human being... But then there is no one more intelligent than
him either.
Our 'mind' is as old as the existence; whereas our brain is of this birth. Hence, the thinking of mind is boundless whereas in the case of brain, it is limited. Since there is no possibility of unanimity of action between the two, we end up living in confusion.
Because we suppress our anger against the strong and powerful, we keep
venting our anger on the weak, irrespective of the reason.
The way you laugh at others when you see them suffer for their mistakes, why
don't you laugh at yourself also when you are paying for your foolishness? If you
learn this, all your miseries will immediately be 'dispelled'.
After helping someone, if you expect a gesture of gratitude from him, then there
is no point in helping. If you feel good when he expresses his gratitude, then too
helping is useless. In that case, you must understand that your help was merely
a means to satiate your ego.
There is no dearth of life in this universe. There are few who are similar to us and
many who are different. The only obstacle in knowing this, is the infinity of the
universe along with the limited progress of life.
