To have a body is to suffer. Those who understand this, detach themselves from all that exists and stop imagining or seeking anything. The sutras say, “To seek is to suffer. To seek nothing is bliss.” When you seek nothing, you’re on the Path.
Don’t confuse the teacher with the lesson, the ritual with the ecstasy, the transmitter of the symbol with the symbol itself.
Know God and all fetters will fall ways. No longer identifying yourself with the body, go beyond birth and death. All your desires will be fulfilled in him who is One without a second
Travel light on your journey in life. Your desires and expectations are heavy baggage which slow you down and thwart your progress. Let them go.
Pain and joy are like light and darkness; they are two sides of the same medal. They are interdependent and inseparably connected to each other.
