In an evolutionary context, development has no end. That means we can always develop more, further, higher and deeper. In Traditional Enlightenment, it’s possible to become ‘fully enlightened’. In Buddhism, they call it ‘cessation’ or ‘the end of becoming’. Evolutionary Enlightenment is about infinite becoming for eternity.
Words can confer strength; they can drain it off; Words can gain friends; they can turn them into enemies; words can elevate or lower the individual. One must learn the habit of making one’s words sweet, soft, and pleasant.
Whatever we are doing, believing, thinking, desiring, understanding, feeling – if we are not aware of them while aware of ourselves in the present – we are asleep, and all are but embers of a dream.
If one fully understands the present moment, there will be nothing else to do, and nothing else to pursue.
