Vacuity, tranquillity, mellowness, quietness and taking no action characterise things of the universe at peace and represent the ultimate Tao and virtue. Therefore abide in them.
Knowing that I am different from the body, I need not neglect the body. It is a vehicle that I use to transact with the world. It is the temple which houses the Pure Self within.
Mankind is a great, immense family… This is proved by what we feel in our hearts at Christmas.
Choose your own way, to suit your own taste, temperament and capacity. There’s no need to criticise or condemn those who follow a different path. Spiritual hunger is the same in all – the ‘food’ to satisfy their hunger may vary.
Chant the name of God with heartfelt devotion. Everything else is just a pompous worldly show.
I forgive all living beings of the universe, and may all living beings forgive me for my faults. I do not have any animosity towards anybody, and I have friendship for all living beings.
