I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
The teacher should regard the pupil as his child. The pupil should regard the teacher as his parent.
Take a look at your natural river. Are you riding with it? Or are you rowing against it? Don’t you see that there is no effort if you’re riding with your river?
Let your aims be common, and your hearts of one accord, and all of you be of one mind, so you may live well together.
When salt mixes with water, it takes the form of water. In the same way samadhi or trance means the mind merging with the cosmic soul or God.
