Prana, the vital breath, is born of Self. Like a person and his shadow, the Self and Prana are inseparable. Prana enters the body at birth, but does not die with the body.
Blessed with a priceless life, why should I not fit it with compassion for all beings?
Without God, life is like a school without a teacher. It is a wire with no current passing through it; it is a body with no soul.
Life is as dear to the mute creature as it is to a man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not to die, so do other creatures.
Just don’t seek from another or you’ll be far estranged from Self. I now go on alone meeting it everywhere, it now is just what I am; I now am not it. You must comprehend in this way to merge with thus-ness.
