The answer to anxiety must come in two parts: dealing with anxiety when it suddenly rears its head in panic attacks and also healing its underlying causes.
The ancestor of every action is a thought… Thought is the blossom; language the bud; action the fruit behind it.
For him who has completed the journey, for him who is sorrowless, for him who from everything is wholly free, for him who has destroyed all ties, the fever of passion exists not… He is like a pool, unsullied by mud; to such a balanced one, life’s wanderings do not arise. Calm is his mind, calm is his speech, calm is his action, who, rightly knowing, is wholly freed, perfectly peaceful and equipoised.
Scholars who incessantly contemplate on acquiring strength and knowledge should also consider it their moral duty to impart knowledge to the ignorant, so that they can develop their mental faculties. This would automatically lead to the latter’s self-development and spiritual progress.
The true nature of action is very difficult to understand. Therefore, one should know the nature of attached, detached and forbidden actions.
Corruption inside is most dangerous, so don’t be corrupt. Begin here first, not out there.
