The ornament of the night is the moon, that of the day is the sun. The ornament of the devotee is devotion, that of devotion knowledge. The ornament of knowledge is meditation, and that of meditation is renunciation. The ornament of renunciation, says Tulsi, is pure, unalloyed peace.
Love is the scent with the lotus born. It is the silent choirs of petals singing winter’s harmony of uniform beauty. Love is the song of the soul, singing to God. It is the balanced rhythmic dance of planets – sun and moonlit.
We consider Christmas as the great, historical and decisive encounter between God and mankind. He who has faith knows this truly; let him rejoice.
Only by doing good can one benefit. Those who detach themselves from ‘bad’ and yearn for ‘good’, dedicate their lives to God…and to service of scholars shall be blessed.
