At any moment you have a choice that either leads you closer to your spirit or further away from it.
Christ was crucified once, but his teachings suffer crucifixion every day at the hands of men of limited vision. Christ’s teachings cannot be understood just by reading the Bible…but by living and trying out in everyday life the principles taught in the book.
A leader must be established in higher values, and be able to communicate her vision to the people. A leader must have impeccable character and be above reproach. She must be dedicated to the welfare of the people, not be driven by self-interest!
God laughs when two brothers divide their land with a string, saying to each other, ‘This side is mine and that side is yours.’ He laughs and says to Himself, ‘The whole universe belongs to me, but they say they own this portion or that portion.’
When the force of the desire for Truth blossoms, selfish desires wither away, just like darkness vanishes before the radiance of the light of dawn.
Burnt offerings, sacred feasts, intense meditations, puja and taking millions of cleansing baths at sacred shrines of pilgrimage: the merits of all these can be obtained by enshrining Lord within your heart for a fraction of a second.
So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Begin with yourself. There is no time to waste. It is your duty to do your part to bring God’s kingdom on earth.
