A yogi who perceives his real Self as separate from his active senses and their objects never becomes attached to anything. He is aware of the dream nature of the universe and watches it without being entangled in its complex but ephemeral nature.
Behold the man who shields his family from all suffering. Has not his body become a willing vessel for affliction? Without good men to hold it up, the family house will fall when misfortune descends.
I do not see what use a man can be put to, whose word cannot be trusted. How can a wagon be made to go if it has no yoke-bar, or a carriage if it has no collar-bar?
The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.
Win over the ill-natured man by goodness…Make haste in doing good; check your mind from evil; for the mind of him who is slow in doing meritorious actions delights in evil.
